As most of you have most probably discovering upon your latest visit to the restaurant, our beloved Rene Renault has left us, in order to concentrate on personal projects. He shall be dearly missed by customers and staff alike, having served Frere Jacques since day one, and brought it to the level of service it possesses today.
Taking over as Restaurant Manager is Michael Taylor, an eminent figure in the hospitality trade. Having been a British Airways Senior First Class Steward, owner of a McDonalds, which lead him to become Chairman of the New Chamber Of Commerce in New Malden, and Food and Beverage Manager at John Lewis, we can safely say that our Front Of House Team is in expert hands for Frere Jacques' new chapter.
Our Kitchen brigade is lead by our Executive Chef, Gerhard Peleschka. He brings to Frere Jacques a wealth of experience. Gerhard is driven by his innate passion and imagination, and his tremendous personal charisma is shown by the consistent quality of his cuisine. He is supported closely by his team of again predominantly French Chefs.
